You may be on enhanced Income Management because you live in the Northern Territory and have been getting a specific payment.

You can be on enhanced Income Management if you live in the Northern Territory, and you are 15 to 24 years old. You must have also had one of the following payments for 3 of the last 6 months:

You can be on enhanced Income Management if you live in the Northern Territory and you are between 25 and Age Pension age. You must have also had one of the following payments for more than 12 of the last 24 months:

What happens to your money

You will get the same amount of payment, but in a different way.

50% of your payments and 100% of any advance and most lump sum payments will go to your enhanced Income Management account. You can access this money with a SmartCard.

The rest of your payment goes to your regular bank account.

Exemptions from enhanced Income Management

You may be able to get an exemption from enhanced Income Management.

If you are exempt, enhanced Income Management stops for 12 months unless your circumstances change.
