Who can get Pharmaceutical Allowance - Pharmaceutical Allowance

You may get it if you get any of the following payments:

Parenting Payment single if you're younger than Age Pension age
Disability Support Pension if you're younger than 21 with no dependent children.

You may also be eligible if you get certain payments and you meet certain conditions.

You may get Pharmaceutical Allowance if you have a temporary illness or medical condition.

You may get Pharmaceutical Allowance when you are 55 or older and get certain payments from us.

If you’re single and the main carer of a dependent child, you may get the Pharmaceutical Allowance.
