To get the allowance you must also get one of the following payments:

• ABSTUDY
• JobSeeker Payment
• Parenting Payment partnered
• Special Benefit
• Youth Allowance
• Farm Household Allowance.

If you have a partial capacity to work, you can get it if you get any of the following payments:

• JobSeeker Payment
• Parenting Payment partnered
• Youth Allowance as a jobseeker.
