With a valid Notice of past benefits

A Notice of past benefits is valid for 6 months. If yours is still valid on the date of judgment or settlement, the compensation payer must:

If your Notice of past benefits has expired before the date of judgment or settlement, you or the compensation payer may either:

Your compensation payer can pay us a 10% advance of your compensation payment in some circumstances.

You’ll need to get a Notice of charge if you don’t have a valid one when your claim settles.

Complete a Section 23A Statement if you don’t have a valid Notice of past benefits.
