Enhanced Income Management helps you budget your payments from us. It also helps you meet essential household needs and expenses, like food, rent, bills and education.
You do not get less money, but you do get it differently. When you get your Centrelink payment, it will be in 2 parts.
Some goes to your regular bank account and the rest goes to your enhanced Income Management account.
We also put most lump sum payments and arrears payments in your enhanced Income Management account. You can access your enhanced Income Management account with a SmartCard. There are some things you cannot buy using money from this account.
You can spend the rest of your money how you like.
