What you need to do after you claim

You may need to confirm your study details, update your address details and tell us when your circumstances change.

After you claim, we may send you a letter asking you to provide proof you’re studying. You’ll need to confirm your study details through the TAP online review.

You’ll need to tell us the address of where you’ll be living while studying and any changes to your study details or changes to your circumstances if you haven’t already told us.

You don’t need to wait for your TAP online review to let us know about your changes. Tell us within 14 days.

If you don’t tell us this information, we won’t be able to finalise your payment. We may have to reject your claim, or your payment may be delayed.
