Centrepay - Business application form (SA389)

We aren’t accepting new Centrepay business applications while we reform Centrepay for customers and businesses.

Closing Centrepay applications to business applicants

As we consult and prepare for improvements, we’ve closed Centrepay to new business applicants.

Existing Centrepay registered businesses will keep getting Centrepay deductions from customers.

As part of this reform, we’ll:

We’ll only consider new applications from businesses under exceptional circumstances.

Applications under exceptional circumstances

Before you complete the form contact us through the Centrepay for businesses team.

You can ask to make an application during the period of pausing, if you:

  • think there are exceptional circumstances
  • need to have your business’s eligibility for Centrepay considered.

In your request, outline how delaying your application to use Centrepay, will affect your customers. You’ll need to give evidence to support this.

Some circumstances will be considered by us and may include:

  • a sale, transfer or restructure of a business that is registered with Centrepay and has existing Centrepay customers.
  • businesses offering critical services, such as community housing, where customers may be adversely affected.

Use this form to apply to use Centrepay only under exceptional circumstances.
