Online reviews make sure we have the right information about your study details. If asked, you must do the review to make sure you’re getting the right payment.
How to do the online review of study details
Throughout the year, we may send you letters asking you to do an online review of your study details.
If your Centrelink online account is linked to myGov, sign in now to do the online review.
You can also use the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
There are some reviews you can only do in your Centrelink online account. Your letter will tell you if this applies to you.
If you don’t have a myGov account or a Centrelink online account you’ll need to create them.
You need to complete the online review by the due date stated in your letter.
What happens if you don’t do the review
We'll suspend your payment if you don’t do the online review by the due date. If we do suspend your payment, you can still do the review and, if eligible, we’ll restore your payment. However, if you don’t do the review within 14 days of your payment suspension, your payment will be cancelled. You may need to reapply if you want a student payment again.
How to give us the right information
You must provide correct information when you do the online review so we can properly assess your study details. If you don’t, we may overpay you and you’ll get a debt. You need to tell us when your study details change, or about other changes to your circumstances. If you deliberately provide false or misleading information about changes to your study details, you may be committing fraud.
