How to manage your payment

You need to tell us if your circumstances change when you get Parental Leave Pay for a child born or adopted before 1 July 2023.

You may request to change the start date if you’ve submitted your claim for Parental Leave Pay for a child born or adopted before 1 July 2023. You can’t change your start date if your Paid Parental Leave period has started.

As a new parent getting Parental Leave Pay for a child born or adopted before 1 July 2023, you may be able to get other payments and support.
