We pay School Term Allowance 4 times a year at the beginning of each school term. The total we’ll pay over the year is $540.80. We pay it directly to you as the parent or guardian of the student.

When we pay
For Term 1 we usually pay once the term has started.
For the other terms we pay after your child’s school tells us they attended enough in the previous term.
School Attendance
To get the allowance your child needs to attend school for at least 85% of the previous term. If they don’t, we won’t pay you the next term’s payment. This doesn’t apply to Term 1, as we pay School Term Allowance regardless.
We base Term 2, 3 and 4 payments on Term 1, 2 and 3 attendance.
