Centrepay policy reform

We’re reviewing the Centrepay Policy and Terms.

Policy and contracts

We propose to improve Centrepay policy and contracts by:

  • removing high-risk goods and services
  • withdrawing service reasons that don’t suit regular bills
  • making contracts clearer so businesses understand their obligations and responsibilities
  • making contracts easier to enforce and take action on, if businesses don’t comply
  • improving safeguards like deduction end dates and target amounts
  • updating the business application and approval process so it’s tailored to different service reasons
  • introducing new requirements for business complaint and feedback processes.
