Carer Supplement

This is an annual payment of up to $600, paid automatically if you get:

You need to be getting one of these for a period that includes 1 July to be eligible for Carer Supplement.

This payment doesn’t add to your taxable income.

You must be getting a certain payment for 1 July to get Carer Supplement for that year.

You don’t need to apply for Carer Supplement. If you’re eligible, we’ll pay it straight into your bank account.

Carer Supplement is an annual payment of $600 for each eligible payment you get. You’ll get this on top of your regular payment.
