Australian Government eInvoicing

We’re an accredited government access point for electronic invoicing (eInvoicing).

We provide a gateway access point for all Australian Government agencies and Services Australia suppliers.

This means that Australian Government agencies and suppliers who have eInvoicing software can use this access point to send and receive invoices instead of using email.

Information for government

If you want to use our access point, you should check with your agency’s financial area to confirm if you have eInvoicing enabled.

Government agencies using eInvoicing should be aware of the Supplier Pay On-Time or Pay Interest Policy on the Department of Finance website. It outlines a 5 day payment term for eInvoicing.

For help using our access point you can email  accesspoint@servicesaustralia.gov.au.

Information for suppliers

Services Australia suppliers can send us eInvoices through accounting software that allows eInvoicing. You can find a list of compatible software on the Peppol Service Provider Register, on the Australian Taxation Office website.

If you’re a supplier for another government agency, you can use our access point to send and receive invoices with them. Before you start, check your software is eInvoicing compatible and that the agency you’re billing allows eInvoicing.
