Leaving Australia can affect your payment or concession card, depending on the type you get and how long you are going for. Some will stop or adjust when you leave.

If you need to report your income, you should do this on the last business day before you leave. You will need to do this by calling us on your regular payment line or by visiting a service centre.

It’s important to tell us if your circumstances change when you’re overseas, like you would in Australia.
