Tell us if there are changes to your financial investments within 14 days

Published: 31 March 2025

If you get a payment from us, your financial investments can affect your rate under either the income or assets test.

Financial investments include bank accounts, loans, managed investments, shares, gifting and some income streams.

You have 14 days to tell us about the changes, including if the combined value of your financial investments increase by $2,000 or more. If you don’t do this, we may pay you too much and you may have to pay the money back.

Learn more about which financial investments may affect your payments.
