You don’t need to apply for your card if you get:
- JobSeeker Payment
- Carer Payment for episodic or short term care for a child, we issue your card for a period of 26 weeks.
Renewing a card
If you’re still eligible to get a health care card, we’ll issue you a new card before the current one ends. You don’t need to do anything.
