The following are some of the assessment methods we use. Please read the individual job pack for more information about the specific assessments we’ll use for the job you apply for.
Text interview
One of the assessment tools we use lets us interview you through a text conversation. We send a message with a question and you write back the answer.
You can complete this task with any device that has internet access. The task is untimed, but it should take around 25 minutes to complete.
Interview questions are tailored to the service delivery role you’re applying for. You can find out more about this type of assessment on the PredictiveHire website.
Cognitive skills assessment
Another of our assessment tools is a cognitive skills assessment. This will test your literacy, numeracy and checking skills. We also test your leadership skills for team leader and management roles.
Find out more about this type of assessment and practice assessments on the Sova Assessment website.
One-way video interviews
This is a virtual interview where we ask you a question. You then consider your response and video record your answer. Like any interview, the questions asked are based on the skills and capabilities described in the job you’re applying for.
We recommend you dress as you would for a face to face interview. Make sure you’re in a quiet area where you won’t be distracted or interrupted.
You need internet access and a device with a camera and the capability to listen and speak. This could be a phone, tablet or PC.
In-person interview
Some of our roles require you to attend an interview in person, via videoconference or over the phone. We ask questions based on the skills and capabilities described in the job you’re applying for. We’ll give you more details about this assessment if you get an invite to interview.
