Who can get Carer Allowance

Who can get Carer Payment
To get Carer Payment, both you and the person you provide care for need to be eligible.
Authorising a person or organisation to enquire or act on your behalf form (SS313)
Use this form to authorise a person or organisation in Australia to be your nominee so they can enquire or act on your behalf with Centrelink.
How much Carer Allowance you can get
Carer Allowance is $159.30 each fortnight.
Income and assets test for Carer Payment
Your rate of Carer Payment depends on what you get paid and own. The person you provide care for also has to have income and assets under certain limits.
