You can check your deductions with your Centrelink online account through myGov or your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
If you don’t have a myGov account or a Centrelink online account you’ll need to create them.
Deduction summary
All your current Centrepay deductions show on your deduction summary.
If your Centrelink account is linked to myGov, follow these steps to view your summary online:
- Select Menu.
- Select Deductions.
- Select View/Add/Change Deductions.
Follow these steps to view your summary using your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app:
- Sign in to your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
- Select More to access the full menu.
- Select Deductions.
- Select Centrepay Deductions.

Deduction statement
Your deduction statement shows the following details:
- your next payments from us
- the deductions coming out of your payments, like Centrepay and government housing rent deductions
- changes to any existing deduction
- new deductions that will start soon.
It may also show other details that relate to your situation, such as:
- participation penalty amounts and non-payment periods
- weekly payment amount if you get your payments weekly
- urgent and advance repayment amounts
- debt repayments
- child support payments
- tax deduction amounts
- amounts that go to your Income Management account.

How to get a deduction statement
You can get a deduction statement in many ways.
Online
Follow these steps to view and print your deduction statement online.
- Sign in to myGov.
- Select Documents and Appointments from the MENU.
- Select Request a document.
- Select Deduction Statement from the drop down menu.
If you don’t have a myGov account or a Centrelink online account, you’ll need to create them.
Express Plus Centrelink mobile app
Follow these steps to view, save, email and print your deduction statement using your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app account.
- Sign in to your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app.
- Select More.
- Select Statements.
- Select Deduction Statement.
- Select the action you’d like from Save to the Vault, Email or Print your deduction statement.

Phone self service
You can request a statement using phone self service. We’ll send it to you in the post.
In person
If you can’t use a self service option, you can visit a service centre and get your deduction statement.
