International medical graduate application for provider or prescriber number

As an international medical graduate (IMG), how you apply for your initial Medicare provider number depends on what identity documents you have.

International medical graduates (IMGs) include both overseas trained doctors (OTDs) and foreign graduates of an accredited medical school (FGAMS).
