Allied health
We can help you after you’ve claimed for the care through:
- Medicare
- your private travel or health insurance.
This can be for treatments such as:
- physiotherapy
- speech therapy
- dentistry and
- audiology
- occupational therapy
- counselling
- psychological care and treatment
- aids and appliances.
We may be able to give you help with the costs of:
- counselling
- psychological services
- psychiatric services.
You must be an Australian resident who:
- wasn’t physically injured but was in the area and had direct exposure to the aftermath of the event
- is the immediate family member of an Australian resident who died, was physically injured, or was seriously psychologically injured as a result of the event
- is the immediate family member of a non-Australian who died as a result of the event.
