Help your loved ones with their aged care options

Kerrie found invaluable support through our video chat service, which made it easy for her parents to receive the care they need.

Kerrie was able to get detailed information from one of our Aged Care Specialist Officers (ACSOs) for her elderly parents looking for assistance at home.

She discovered our video chat service through a friend who had also used the service.

‘Having the option to connect with an ACSO through video chat was so helpful. The commute to the Gold Coast Service Centre from our town was too long for my parents,’ said Kerrie.

‘The ACSO asked my parents questions about their situation to better understand their needs and care requirements. This helped with planning their next steps.

‘The process to book the video chat appointment was so simple too. After booking, a letter was sent to Mum’s myGov Inbox, with a link to the appointment. I could join my parents during the appointment in case they were unsure about anything. The ACSO gave them all the information they needed.’
