Broome Service Centre Manager Azizah said staff are pleased the Broome community will have a fresh new space to access government services.
“The service centre’s contemporary layout and upgraded facilities mean locals will find it even easier to access support, payments and services,” Azizah said.
“Centrelink customers who like certainty around the time they can speak with a staff member face-to-face or over the phone can now use their myGov account to book an appointment at the Broome service centre.
“Digital coaching is also on offer for those looking for extra support to access our online services.
“The new location will also see us share a space with a number of other commonwealth government agencies - meaning we can now better meet the needs of the local community.”
All Centrelink, Medicare and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services will continue to be provided at the new service centre, which has public parking facilities nearby.
The new service centre is located at 158 Frederick Street (access via Jewell Street), Broome and is open Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.
