You get an income support payment

We may have your financial details if you get a relevant income support payment from us or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

When you applied for an income support payment, you may have either:

  • given us or the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) your financial details to work out how much you get
  • not given us or DVA your financial details because we didn’t need them.

If we have your financial details

We have your financial details if you get certain Centrelink income support payments. These include the following:

  • Age Pension
  • Disability Support Pension
  • Carer Payment, not including Carer Allowance
  • Special Benefit
  • Farm Household Allowance
  • Widow Allowance.

We have your financial details if you get certain DVA income support payments. These include the following:

  • Service Pension
  • Income Support Supplement
  • Veterans Payment.

If we don’t have your financial details

We don’t have your financial details if you get certain income support payments. These include the following:

  • Age Pension (Blind)
  • Disability Support Pension (Blind)
  • War Widow(er)s Pension
  • Disability Compensation Payment paid by DVA (not including income support supplement)
  • Income Support Pension (Blind) paid by DVA.
