The myGov user audit recommended an independently chaired advisory board to help ensure government services meet the needs of people, staff and the Australian economy.
The Interim Services Australia Independent Advisory Board was established in December 2023.
The 2024-25 Budget extended the role of an Independent Advisory Board through to June 2028.
The Board will consider the work of the agency with a focus on human centred design, delivery and implementation of new and existing services.
Members will provide advice about various initiatives to the Minister, considering the following:
- ethical impacts
- human rights impacts
- benefits for people and the economy.
