You need to do a recognised activity to get Child Care Subsidy.

Your activity level affects your subsidised care for Child Care Subsidy (CCS).

You can get at least 36 hours of Child Care Subsidy for each child, regardless of the amount of recognised activity you do.

You may be exempt from the Child Care Subsidy activity levels. If you are, you can access 100 hours of subsidised care per child per fortnight.

Casual or irregular work hours may affect your subsidised hours of care for Child Care Subsidy.

You may be able to include travel time as part of your recognised activity for Child Care Subsidy.
