Change how you get your messages

You can change how you get electronic messages from us at any time.

If your Centrelink online account is linked to myGov, you can change how you get electronic messages from us online.

To do this:

  1. Sign in to myGov.
  2. Select My Details.
  3. Select Letters and messaging.
  4. Select Electronic messaging and letters subscription.
  5. Select Email or Mobile (SMS) and follow the prompts.

We’ll send you an email or SMS to confirm the change.

If you live overseas you can only get electronic messages by email.
