Add your immunisation history statements to a digital wallet

You can add your COVID-19 and influenza (flu) immunisation history statement or International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate to your digital wallet. This is either your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

How you add your certificate or statement to your digital wallet depends on whether you’re eligible for Medicare or not.

If you’ve had any additional vaccines remember to update your proof in your digital wallet.

If you’re eligible for Medicare

You can add your proof of vaccinations to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet using either:

• the Express Plus Medicare mobile app
• your Medicare online account through myGov using a browser on your mobile phone or tablet.

If you’re using an iOS device, your software must be iOS 9.0 or later and can use either Safari or Chrome browsers. If you’re using an Android device, your software must be 5.0 and up and needs to use the Chrome browser.

COVID-19 and influenza (flu) immunisation history statement

If you’re using the Express Plus Medicare mobile app:

1. Select Proof of vaccinations from Services.
2. Select View history.
3. Select your name, then View COVID-19 and influenza (flu) statement.
4. Select either Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet.

If your Medicare online account is linked to myGov:

1. Sign in to myGov using the mobile app or internet browser on your mobile phone or tablet.
2. Select Medicare then View proof in Proof of vaccinations.
3. Select View history then select your name.
4. Select either Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet.

If you don’t have a myGov account or a Medicare online account you’ll need to create them.

If you’re not eligible for Medicare

You can add your COVID-19 and influenza (flu) immunisation history statement to your digital wallet using the Individual Healthcare Identifiers service (IHI service) through myGov.

If you’re using the IHI service through myGov:

1. Sign in to your myGov account using a browser on your device.
2. Select Individual Healthcare Identifiers service.
3. Select View proof in Proof of vaccinations.
4. Select View history in Immunisation history.
5. Select either Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet.

If you need to update your proof in your digital wallet

If you’ve had additional vaccines, you’ll need to update the certificate or statement saved in your digital wallet.

To do this, it is recommended to delete the old certificate or statement from your wallet first. Then, follow the steps for adding a certificate or statement to your wallet.
